These Youths Be Protesting (KXT on Broadway) ★★★
These Youths Be Protesting has the laughs, performances, and vivacity to keep you engaged.
-

Never Have I Ever (Melbourne Theatre Co) ★★★★
Four friends meet up in a restaurant for dinner and an awkward conversation.
-

The Pirates of Penzance, or the Slave of Duty (Hayes) ★★★★
Respectful yet irreverent, these pirates might surprise you.
-

Feeling Afraid As If Something Terrible Is Going To Happen (Sydney Opera House) ★★★★½
Feeling Afraid As If Something Terrible Is Going To Happen is less a play about a stand-up comic than it is a magic show in its own right.
-

Peter & the Starcatcher (Capitol Theatre) ★★★★
If, like me, you’re a sucker for fairy lights and the odd fart joke, you’ll love this Peter Pan prequel.
-

Aria (Ensemble) ★★★★
Aria seems like a broad comedy, but it could just as easily be a wildlife documentary.
-

Pride & Prejudice (Old Fitz) ★★½
This lo-fi adaptation of Jane Austen’s classic witty romance Pride & Prejudice has all the hallmarks of a fringe darling.

The Pigeons (KXT on Broadway) ★★½
Like a mash-up of The Office, Succession, and ’Allo, ‘Allo, The Pigeons takes you on a wild ride.
